FAQ: Can I use Seachem Reef Builder™ with my fish and corals?

You can!  Reef Builder™ is specifically formulated to bolster alkalinity in reef tanks (saltwater tanks that contain corals and other invertebrates), but it works perfectly fine in FOWLR tanks as well. Be aware though that an accidental overdose of Reef Builder™ has the potential to raise your pH too high, although a significant overdose is needed to do so.  To avoid this in FOWLR systems, Seachem® offers Marine Buffer®, which is quite hard to overdose to the point of overshooting the pH.
