FAQ: Is Seachem Pristine™ safe to use in a tank where I'm keeping _________?

Yes! To the best of our knowledge, there are no fish, invertebrates, or plants that have a specific aversion to Pristine™. However, "Pristine™ Tolerant" is not the same as "Water Change Tolerant".  Many fish, plants, and invertebrates are stressed by sudden high-percentage water changes, and dosing Pristine™ along with the water change does not prevent this stress form occurring.  For standard community tanks, we recommend water changes of 30% of the tank or less, and for more sensitive tank inhabitants, we recommend no more than 20% of the tank at a time.
