FAQ: If I am already using Seachem Flourish®, do I need to use Flourish Trace™?

Yes and no.  Trace elements are utilized or oxidized from water surprisingly quickly, and it often takes plants quite some time to show trace element deficiencies.  A slow-growing tank which gets regular water changes will likely go quite some time before showing any kind of trace element deficiencies when being supplemented with Flourish® alone.  That said, for higher-growth tanks or tanks that rarely get water changes, we highly recommend Flourish Trace™.
