FAQ: Will Seachem Flourish Glue™ kill roots?

Under ordinary circumstances of use, using Flourish Glue™ will not cause noticeable root die-off in plants.  If a root is completely encased in Flourish Glue™, the portion that is encased will die.  However, coming into contact with Flourish Glue™ does not inherently kill the root (Flourish Glue™ is not root poison) and any portion of the root that is left exposed to the water will continue to grow perfectly well.
