FAQ: Is it possible to overdose Seachem Matrix™?

An overdose of Matrix™ may take up space that is needed for other types of medias, but in most cases, there is no such thing as too much bio-media, as the material itself is non-reactive and the beneficial bacteria colonies in this media only grow as large as they need to be to process the amount of waste that is available to them.  Overusing bio-media will not cause high levels of nitrate, nor will it cause waste swings or other issues in the aquarium.
