FAQ: Is it possible to overdose Seachem Reef Strontium™?

It certainly is!  An overdose of Reef Strontium™ will not only result in a sudden and stressful rise in strontium levels, but will also add more gluconate than your corals can consume.  Gluconate is beneficial to corals, but like all nutrient sources for corals, unused gluconate is fair game to floating bacteria.  Because of this, a large overdose of Reef Strontium™ can result in a slight haziness in the water.
