FAQ: Does Seachem Renew™ exhaust, expire, or need to be replaced?

Sealed and unopened Renew™ does not expire over time.

Once Renew™ has been added to the aquarium, it will start to absorb waste from the water.  It typically needs to be replaced every 2-4 weeks according to waste buildup in the water.
