Possibly. Reef Phytoplankton™ is exclusively intended for reef tanks and formulated for the nutrient needs of corals. Additionally, many fish, corals, and invertebrates are stressed by sudden high-percentage water changes and shifts in water parameters. We recommend to follow the dosing instructions and keep water changes to 30% of the tank or less. More sensitive tank inhabitants will do better with smaller, more frequent water changes and slower alterations of water parameters.

Green: This product is safe for these tank inhabitants. Take care to avoid sudden large shifts in water parameters within the tank, and review the dosing instructions carefully to avoid improper dosing.
Orange: These tank inhabitants are more sensitive, and while the product can still be used on them, it's best to start with a partial dose and work up to the full dose over time
