Unopened and sealed CupriSorb™ does not expire over time, but an exceptionally old bottle of CupriSorb™ may have become contaminated, or the seal may have broken. If CupriSorb™ has an unusual or rancid smell, has completely dried our, or has turned an unusual color, it is recommended to get a new packet or tub.
Once CupriSorb™ has been added to the aquarium, it will start to absorb metals from the water. CupriSorb™ turns dark blue as it exhausts, and can be regenerated once it is completely blue.
