Our formulation and dosing instructions for Seachem® products are exclusively intended for use on ornamental fish tanks. Outside of this application, medications should only be used as prescribed by a veterinarian, as an overdose, under-dose, or mis-application of the products could have significant detrimental effects on the health of the animal.
Some animals such as aquatic frogs and axolotls straddle the line between terrestrial amphibians and inhabitants of ornamental fish tanks. Many Seachem® customers have used our medications on these animals, but as we have not carried out extensive testing on these animals, we cannot offer recommendations for dosing or utilization of these products in this application. We would recommend consulting an exotic animal veterinarian for recommendations.
