FAQ: Can I use Seachem Reef Carbonate™ on things that are not an aquarium?

Reef Carbonate™ hasn't been FDA approved for use in the production of food for humans or terrestrial animals, and we haven't tested it in applications outside of the reef aquarium. We will not be able to speculate on how Reef Carbonate™ will work in non-aquarium applications for this very reason.
