No, we do not recommend using PolyGuard™ in a tank that contains invertebrates or plants. PolyGuard™ cannot be used in a medicated food blend, so if you need to medicate this kind of aquarium we recommend to use one of the following medicated food blends:
MetroPlex™ for internal or external parasites
KanaPlex™ for internal or external bacterial infections
SulfaPlex™ for external infections
NeoPlex™ for bacterial infections of the intestines
