FAQ: Is Seachem Brackish Salt™ harmful to plants?

Used as directed, Brackish Salt™ will not cause harm to plants. Brackish Salt™ is a blend of salts that contains a minimal amount of sodium chloride unlike other freshwater aquarium salts which are nothing but sodium chloride. Elevated levels of sodium and chloride will harm plants. It is the minimal amount contained in Brackish Salt™ that makes this product safe for plants.
