FAQ: My Seachem Prime® smells bad or different. Is there something wrong with it?

Prime® has a very distinct odor that is similar to sulfur which is completely normal.  The strength of this scent varies over time, so do not be alarmed if your new bottle smells a bit different from your old bottle.  The smell of the bottle has no impact on the strength or effectiveness of your Prime®.
